Emergency Dental Care

The Emergency Dental Care was created as a response to a difficult situation related to the coronavirus epidemic. We do not want to leave our patients without help! Our doctors showed their solidarity through their willingness to take shifts. It allows us to provide you with fast and complex support whenever you get a sudden toothache.

Our clinics in Komorów (tel. 2275800023) and Warsaw (tel. 225065254) are open Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

We have put in place strict procedures in order to reduce the risk of virus transmission.

Due to the dynamic and unpredictable development of the situation, our patients can be kept informed about the next steps taken by our clinic. For this purpose, please contact us by phone or observe our social media channels.

Emergency Dental Care – when do we operate?

Toothache sometimes starts suddenly. It may be caused by previous negligence, related to, among others, untreated caries or it may be the result of latent inflammatory processes in the periapical tissues of nonvital (dead) teeth or periodontium. Pain may also be a result of an injury. Disturbing signals from the oral cavity should be examined as soon as possible, as further inflammation can be prevented this way. Often it is possible to avoid an extraction and pain escalation.

A sudden toothache – how can we help you?

The emergency dental care is dedicated to people who have an unexpected toothache attack. We provide help both to adults and to children. Using Emergency Dental Care services is much better than relieving the symptoms with painkillers, because with the help of a dentist it is possible to remove the cause of the ailment.

Within the framework of our Emergency Dental Care services we offer mainly surgical services (extractions, abscess incision and drainage) and endodontic services (devitalisation of a tooth, replacement of lost dressings, completion of a started root canal treatment). Our main goal is to alleviate pain and prepare our patients for further procedures. In addition, we offer conservative wound dressing in case of lost fillings or injuries. We offer splinting. We reattach lost brackets or retainers for our orthodontic patients. Patients should report to us in case of:

  • swelling within the gingival and periodontal tissues
  • Intense toothache
  • Tooth injury (fracture, luxation)

On the basis of the information obtained, we can decide, whether an immediate tooth extraction is:

  • necessary – this procedure is recommended, when the tooth does not qualify for root canal treatment and at the same time is a source of severe pain.
  • to undertake root canal treatment. Endodontics enters when pulp inflammation develops and there is a chance that the sick tooth can be reconstructed.

Patients with pain have a priority. Our clinics are equipped with X-ray equipment for full diagnostic imaging of teeth and facial skeleton. Within the Emergency Dental Care we work in the highest achievable aseptic conditions; we also work in rotating shifts in order to fully disinfect the rooms after each patient. We strictly follow the procedures. Thanks to this, despite unusual circumstances, our patients can count on comprehensive and professional support every day.
